Either because I need more creative inspiration in my life (or I have some desperate, pathetic need to fill the “stress void” I recently created), I decided to take part in WordPress’ “Weekly Photo Challenge” (this blog is hosted on WordPress).
According to the email announcing the campaign:
Each week, we’ll provide a theme for creative inspiration. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog anytime before the following Friday when the next photo theme will be announced.
Alllllllrighty then.
Enjoy my first submission, interpreting the theme of “boundaries”. By way of explanation, I hosted a number of my girlfriends earlier this week for a monthly gathering, many of whom brought over (and left behind) food. As the only vegetarian or vegan in the group, there usually aren’t many items that I can enjoy.
I always say that as a vegan, I don’t miss cheese, I don’t miss meat — the only food(s) I really miss are the sweets. Sometimes, a girl just needs a cookie, pastry, cake, brownie etc. And guess what food remained? Dessert.
So my boundaries include just saying no to these lovely sweets, as they contain dairy products.
Grrrrrrrrrrrr.
Like I said … sometimes a girl just needs a cookie.
Until next week!
Those tiny cupcakes do look luscious. And I like your camera perspective which makes them loom as large as the craving for something sweet.
