Jumping for Joy in 2012

Happy New Year! 2012, holy crap. Time flies when you’re having fun. (or when you’re sitting around, doing nothing, watching life pass you by. But I digress).

So not at all shockingly, my premonition from Note to Self: Downtime Should NOT Cause Stress! came true: I accomplished next to nothing during my holiday time off. But on a positive note (and so not like me), I’m not beating myself up over it. I knew I needed the break, so I took it.

Which of course means now I’m scrambling to get back into work mode and take care of all the personal crap I blew off was unable to get to. Oy. So as I throw myself back into my busy work schedule and try to cross things off of my to-do list, I thought I would leave you with a recent video of me, working on my trampoline moves. Because taking trampoline classes to perfect tricks like layouts is a perfectly normal thing to do at age 36 in your 30s. (Something to add to my to-do list: stick my layout landings).

You’re welcome.

(of course, thanks to Trapeze School New York-DC and instructor Rich Riggins to make sure I don’t kill myself as I try to recapture the athletic glory of my teenage years!)
